I tried the "Linda" pant pattern in a woven with a good bit of stretch - big fail, BUT WAIT - there's more - I wasn't going to give up on a pattern that everyone is raving about - I just finished THE GREATEST PANTS EVER - not out of the recommended stretch bengaline, but out of stable, non-stretch denim... WOW... so glad I gave this pattern another try, this fits me. Made up in 20 minutes, start to finish! Yes, hemmed and all. Now that's a pattern worth its weight in gold. I cannot believe it! I have been sewing with all the major pattern brands and the crotch area on pants never fit with me pulling my hair out after several adjustments but still they don't fit right. I purchased the Linda stetch trouser pattern on the advice of my sewing teacher and they are perfect-NO ADJUSTMENTS! You obviously know how to draft a pattern for the average woman. Thanks so much for including the Creative Cate Top as a "try me" pattern with my last order. I couldn't wait to try it, and had such good results that I've now made it twice! I altered it down to size 12 by pinching out an inch in the center front and center back (forgot to tell you in my order that I'm smaller on top than on the bottom), and it turned out fabulous!
